'Constantly tortured by Rehana Fathima and her former partner'; Rehana's mother lodges complaint with police 

ALAPPUZHA: Activist Rehana Fathima's mother Pyari has lodged a complaint with the police against her daughter and her former partner. In her complaint, Pyari alleged that Rehana Fathima and her former partner Manoj K Sreedhar are constantly torturing her physically and mentally. Rehana Fathima is Pyari's only daughter.

Pyari said that she used to live with her daughter in a flat in Ernakulam. She later moved to a relative's house in Alappuzha due to constant harassment by her daughter. She said that she decided to file the complaint as both Rehana and Manoj continued to threaten her.

'I had to leave my daughter's house and move to a relative's house because of the threat to my life. I have been living here for two months. But now, Rehana is threatening my relatives by calling them on the phone,' Pyari said in her complaint.

After receiving the complaint, the Alappuzha North Police summoned Rehana and warned her not to harm or threaten the accused.
