THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister Roshy Augustine said that he has ordered to terminate Santhosh, a native of Malayinkeezh, arrested for an alleged robbery bid at a house near Kurvankonam, from the post of his private secretary's driver. Santhosh is a contract driver of water authority vehicle allotted to the minister's private secretary. The minister has directed to remove him from his office immediately.

He is an employee of the water authority's sub-contracting agency. The minister also directed the water authority to investigate against the driver and instruct the agency to take appropriate action against him. The minister said there will be no interference in the case.

He is being interrogated on suspecting his role in the case of sexually assaulting a woman doctor, who was on a morning walk near Museum. The investigating officials said that an identification parade will be conducted today and if the doctor identifies him, he will be arraigned in the case. The person who attacked the doctor also fled in a car. The police have directed the doctor to appear at 10 am for the identification parade. He will be arraigned only after that.

Santhosh was trapped during his travel in water authority's Innova car. This Innova car turned an evidence on CCTV. Santhosh admitted that he barged into the house at Kuravankonam in this car. The police found that the Innova car was in Museum premises at the time of assaulting the doctor.
