Youth brings down body of Elizabeth and then commits suicide in same rope, police seeks clarification

ALAPPUZHA: The police are seeking clarification on the inconsistencies in the incident in which a youth and a plus two student finding dead in an unoccupied plot at Pallipuram in Cherthala. The youth was found hanging and the girl was lying down.

The preliminary conclusion of the post-mortem report is that the girl also committed suicide by hanging. The police believe that the youth may have brought down the body of the girl first and then is likely to have committed suicide in the same rope. The initial finding is that no force was used on the girl's body.

Ananthakrishnan alias Kichu (23), son of Thilakan and Jeeja of Pallipuram and Elizabeth (17), daughter of Shibu and Bindu (late) were found dead on Monday evening.
