Obscene act before female students in train; RPF begins investigation for accused who is a differently-abled man

THIRUVANATHAPURAM: An investigation has been started to capture the accused who did obscene acts by looking at female students travelling in the train. The female students travelling from Thiruvananthapuram to Kollam in the Kottayam Express had to encounter such a bad experience. The person did obscene acts got off the train at Varkala. The girl's friend shared the visuals of the incident in the social media. But the railway police said that no complaint has been received and investigation has been started for the accused based on the visuals.

The incident happened yesterday afternoon. The visuals of the man’s acts were shot by the girl’s younger sister on her mobile phone. The police got the information that he got down at Varkala station after noticing that they were recording video. But the girl did not complain to the co-passengers or to the Varkala station. After the visuals came out, the railway police collected numbers of the girls and spoke to them.

The students had sent the visuals to their friends to find the man. This is how the incident came to light. The information received was that the obscene act was done by a differently-abled person.
