THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An allegation of an attempt to murder similar to the Parassala Sharon murder case. Sudheer of Parassala in the capital city lodged a complaint against his former wife Shanthi and her second husband Murukan. The police have registered a case.

KSRTC driver Sudheer alleged that his wife with the help of her then lover Murukan tried to kill him by giving poison. A private channel exposed this news. The complaint is that they tried to kill him in July 2018 lacing poison in Horlicks.

‘I used to feel dizzy from time to time. Will go to the hospital in Parassala and a drip will be given and then will return home. One evening drank a tea mixed with Horlicks. I immediately felt dizzy. Was taken to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College and was on ventilator for three days,’ he told a private channel.

Sudheer found the poison in the house after his wife left him. Sudheer said that he has evidence for Murukan sending this to Shanthi from Tamil Nadu. Parassala police did not take any action despite filing a complaint for murder attempt. Sudheer approached the police again with the complaint after the Sharon case came to light.
