Youth stabs childhood friend to death, chops off private part

BHIWANDI: In a shocking incident, a youth stabbed his childhood friend to death following a dispute over his girlfriend. The horrific incident took place on Sunday night in Thane district in Maharashtra. The deceased has been identified as Shamim Ansari, who owns a hotel in the Fatima Nagar area.

Police said that it was Shamim's friend Aslam who committed the crime following a dispute. After the murder, Aslam chopped off his friend's private part and stuffed it in his mouth.

As per preliminary investigations, a love affair might have led to the murder, the police said. Police have registered a case under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code in this regard.
