THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition Leader VD Satheesan demanded that the Chief Minister should explain why a case was not filed against the CPM leaders on the basis of Swapna's revelations. He was inaugurating a march to the DGP office under the leadership of the Mahila Congress demanding that a case be filed against Kadakampally Surendran MLA, former minister Thomas Isaac and former speaker P Sreeramakrishnan.
"The state police do not have a backbone. The police are doing slave work in the AKG centre. They have one justice for Eldhose Kunnappilly and another justice for CPM leaders. Pinarayi Vijayan, who orders a CBI investigation after receiving written complaints, is afraid of Swapna Suresh. If what she is saying is wrong, why is the government hesitating to file a case against her? CPM members usually say that they have their own police station and party court when women complain against their leaders. It seems that the party has now started its own PSC. But we won't allow that in Kerala," Satheesan said.
