Passenger attempts to smuggle gold in Black Label, arrested

KOCHI: The customs seized the gold hidden in liquor bottles in Nedumbassery. Gold of 73 sovereigns was seized from a passenger who tried to smuggle it from Dubai. He tried to smuggle the gold in liquid form in Johnny Walker black label liquor bottles. He tried to smuggle the gold in paste form after sticking in the bottle using a tape. This is reportedly the first of its kind.

A youth who tried to smuggle gold by hiding in his mouth was caught in Karipur. The youth, who came out after checking, was taken into custody on the basis of a secret information and during checking, gold was found in his mouth. The youth with a mask came out of the airport in a very cool manner, leaving no one suspicious.
