THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Sixth Additional District Sessions Judge K Vishnu has rejected the anticipatory bail plea of the director and assistant, who allegedly took nude pictures of a woman by force after she signed a contract to act in a movie. The anticipatory bail plea was filed by Lakshmi Dheepthi, a native of Kottayam Vaikom NE Ward and resident of GSN 97 in Gandhismaraka Nagar in Muttada, and her assistant Ebison, a native of Muriyankara in Parassala and CEO of Aryananda Creation.

The prosecution argued that the accused should not be granted bail as proper investigation should be carried out into such nefarious activities on the OTT platform. The court also seriously considered the investigation officer's report that the custody of the accused is necessary to find the contract signed by the complainant woman, to examine the nude pictures of the woman in the movie and to check the approval of the Censor Board. Additional Public Prosecutor M Salahuddin and Vinu Murali appeared in the court.
