The wait is finally over for fans; Nivin Pauly’s ‘Thuramukham’ to hit theatres on December

The wait is finally over for movie buffs as Nivin Pauly-Rajeev Ravi film ‘Thuramukham’ is gearing up for release. There was uncertainty regarding the release of the film even after receiving U/A certificate after completing censoring. As per latest news, the film will hit the theatres on December 22. Among the few Nivin Pauly films slated for release in 2022, ‘Thuramukham’ was the most anticipated film by fans.

The actor also publicly expressed his disappointment over the delay in the release of the film. The producers explained that the delay in the completion of some transactions related to the film was the reason. But now the film's distributors, Magic Frames, have started charting the theaters for the release.

Joju George, Indrajith Sukumaran, Nimisha Sajayan, Poornima Indrajith, Arjun Ashokan, Darshana Rajendran, Sudev Nair, Manikandan Achari, Senthil Krishna, Santosh Keezhatoor are among the huge cast lined up in the film. Rajeev Ravi has also done the cinematography of the film. The story is set in the backdrop of workers' struggles, and protests against the infamous ‘Chappa’ system of casual labour allocation that was practiced in Kochi till 1962. K.M.
