Radiologist arrested for capturing visuals of woman while changing clothes for scanning

ADOOR: Anjith (Nandu 24), a radiologist has been arrested for capturing visuals of a woman while she was undressing for MRI scanning. He shot the visuals using a mobile phone camera. The complaint is a native of Ezhamkulam.

The incident happened in Devi Scan near Adoor General Hospital on Friday evening. The lab authorities tried to conceal the news from coming out, but the woman went to the police station and filed a complaint.

The mobile phone was wrapped in a cloth in such a way that only the camera was visible and the visuals were shot by hiding in the cupboard of the room. The woman got suspicious and inspected it. Then she found the phone. After deleting the visuals, she made noise. Anjith came running and grabbed her hand to get the phone. By then, others also arrived.

Eight such videos were found on his mobile phone. DYSP R Binu said that the phone will be subjected to scientific testing to find out whether other visuals have been deleted. Anjith was remanded.

The lab has been closed following DYFI, Youth Congress and BJP protests.
