KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Tuesday said that LDF's march to Raj Bhavan cannot be stopped. The order came on a petition filed by BJP state president K Surendran demanding that government employees and labourers of the employment guarantee scheme be prevented from participating in the Raj Bhavan march and dharna.

The court asked how to know if government employees had participated in the march and whether there was an order for government employees to participate. The court has directed the Chief Secretary to consider Surendran's complaint.

Last day, Surendran approached the High Court alleging that the government employees were being forced to participate in the strike by guaranteeing their attendance. It was stated in the petition that it is illegal for government employees to participate in strikes.
