Chopped body of 22-year-old woman found in well, head missing

LUCKNOW: Chopped body of a young woman was found in a well in Azamgarh in Uttar Pradesh. The head of the body is missing. According to reports, the deceased woman was 22 years old.

The crime was reported within the Ahraula police station limits. The authorities also informed that a DNA test will be conducted to bring clarity to the incident.

The body was found when the water level in the well went down. The locals saw the hands and feet of a woman in the well and informed the police. SP Anurag Arya said that the incident will be investigated in detail and the forensic team and dog squad are inspecting the well and its surroundings.
