Lakh stolen from public exchequer, CM sabotaged Principal Secretary's directive for a probe, Sandeep Varier releases evidence

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP leader Sandeep Varier came forward levelling serious allegations against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. He alleged that there is evidence for the chief minister directly sabotaging the principal secretary's directive for civil criminal action in a corruption case. Sandeep Warrier also released some documents to validate the allegations through Facebook.

Sandeep Varier’s post said CDIT Director G Jayaraj's appointment was illegal, and when a complaint was raised about the transaction that took place during that period, IT Secretary Bishwanath Sinha wrote in the file asking for civil and criminal action against the officer. Sandeep Warrier alleged that the chief minister has staged a coup in connection with this. Jayaraj is the husband of T N Seema, the coordinator of the second phase of the Navkerala Karmapaddhati and a member of the CPM state committee.
