Woman kidnapped and sexually abused in Thrissur, school mate behind act

THRISSUR: A married woman was sexually abused after abducting her from her house. A complaint has been lodged by a native of Kunnumkulam Chemmanur. The complaint is filed against Aromal of Anthicaud, her school mate. The police have intensified search for him who fled after the incident. Sherin who arranged car for him to abduct her has been arrested. Police said Aromal’s friend Sherin is an accused in vehicle theft cases.

The complaint said that she was forcibly abducted from her house in the morning. After she went missing, her husband had lodged a complaint. The Kunnamkulam police could not find her even after searching the whole night. Aromal dropped her in Thrissur the next morning. She then sought shelter at the East Police Station.

The car carrying her was changed in between. Sherin then arranged another vehicle for them. She was kept in this car the whole night. The woman said Aromal, her classmate, was a persistent troublemaker.
