Friend who took to bar spiked my drink, accused took turns to rape inside moving vehicle; revelations by 19-year-old gang-rape survivor

KOCHI: 19-year-old model who was gang-raped in Kochi has made crucial revelations in the case. She said that her friend Dimple Lava took her to the bar and alleged that some powder had been added to the beer given to her.

The girl also alleged that when she got tired, Dimple Lava asked her to get into her friend's car. Kodungalloor natives Vivek, Nithin and Sudheep and Dimple Lava from Rajasthan were arrested in the case. The rape took place on Thursday night.

The incident started at Atlantis hotel in Ernakulam on Thursday night. The young lady collapsed while drinking with Dimple Lava after a DJ party here. The men who came to help managed to get rid of the Rajasthan woman saying that they would take her to her residence in Kakkanad. The case is that the accused men took turns in raping the woman in Vivek's brand new Mahindra Thar after roaming around the city. The woman was dropped off in front of the OYO stay near Kakkanad Infopark where she was staying.
