Plus one student sexually assaulted by teacher while returning from youth festival

KOCHI: A complaint has been lodged that a Plus one student was sexually assaulted by teacher. The incident is reported in Thrippunithara, Kochi. The girl student has filed complaint against Pattimattam native Kiran.

The complaint is that the teacher misbehaved while she was returning from the school youth festival. The Hill Palace police registered a case and started an investigation. Kiran is absconding.

Meanwhile, the teacher who sexually assaulted students in Kozhikode was arrested yesterday. Abdul Nassar (52), a native of Thoottoli, Kodassery has been arrested based on complaints that he approached boys and girls with sexual intention.

The information came out during counseling by Childline to these students. The students revealed that more students have been the victims of sexual assault. To confirm this, Childline has decided to conduct counseling to more students taught by Abdul Nassar.
