Malayali journalist killed in accident in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: A Malayali journalist was killed in a car accident in Hyderabad. The deceased has been identified as Niveditha Sooraj (26), a content editor at the ETV Bharat Kerala desk. She is the daughter of Thrissur Padiyoor native Sooraj and Bindu. Niveditha died in a car accident near Bhagyalatha Bus Stop Hayat Nagar in Hyderabad on Saturday morning. Niveditha was hit by a car when she was crossing the road from her residence to go to the office at 5 in the morning.

Niveditha's friend Sonali Chaveri, a native of Maharashtra and a content editor at the ETV Bharat Uttar Pradesh desk, was admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad with serious injuries. Niveditha died on the spot.
