THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A letter written by the Governor asking for government vehicles for the guests arriving at the Raj Bhavan has come out. In a letter dated September 23, 2021, the Governor's Principal Secretary requests that the Public Administration Department's cars be made available for use by Raj Bhavan guests. The department was asked to hand over three cars, including an Innova car, from October 10, 2021, to March 20, 2022, as more visitors will be arriving at the Raj Bhavan, according to the letter.

At the same time, a letter written by Governor Arif Mohammad Khan to the Chief Minister asking for the regularisation of 20 temporary employees of Raj Bhavan came out the other day. The Governor sent this letter in December 2020. Governor’s recommendation was for Kudumbashree employees who only have five years of working experience. He also requested to regularize the appointment of the photographer who has been working in Raj Bhavan on a temporary basis.

In the letter, the Governor also requested that the post of 'Cypher Assistant' be renamed as photographer to regularize Dileep, who was working as a photographer on a contract basis. The government order confirming the photographer post states that the appointment is based on a letter sent to the chief minister on the special request of the governor. This order was issued on February 17.
