JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia has decided to celebrate the victory against Argentina in Qatar World Cup. A public holiday has been declared in the country tomorrow including private and educational institutions. Saudi ruler King Salman ordered a holiday to celebrate the victory.

Saudi Arabia marked their first victory in the World Cup by defeating Argentina for 2-1. Saudi Arabia scored two goals in five minutes at the beginning of the second half against Argentina, who took the lead with Lionel Messi's penalty goal in the first half. In response, Argentina could not score a single goal and Saudi won the match.

Salah Al-Shehri and Salem Al-Dawsari scored goalsfor Saudi Arabia. In the first half of the match, three times Argentina had the ball in the net only to be denied by razor-tight offside calls, and Saudi took the lead in the second half.
