Kabali comes to road again; tries to overturn a bus

CHALAKUDY: The wild elephant, Kabali, with musth, tried to attack two KSRTC buses. The wild elephant reached the road by 8 pm from the forests destroyed the front part of the bus with it tusks and tried to lift it up. There were six passengers when the bus was attacked. Even though they panicked, nothing has happened to them. The bus was attacked on its way to Malakappara from Chalakudy.

The forest officials said that the elephant’s attack might have caused because the road is narrow and the animal might not have got enough space on the road. Earlier, Kabali had blocked another bus coming from Malakappara to Chalakudy at 6.30 pm.

The tusker pushed the bus a few distance back. There were 30 passengers at the time and luckily none got hurt.

The drivers and conductors at Chalakudy depot are anxious about the elephant and fear its attack.
