Many injured as private bus overturns in Thrissur, condition of three including driver serious

THRISSUR: An accident happened after a private bus overturned losing control. The accident happened at Kondazhy at 8 am Friday morning. Sumangali, the bus operating services to Thiruvilwamala from Thrissur met with the accident. There were 30 passengers in the bus at the time of the accident. Many including school and college students were in the bus. Three including the driver sustained serious injuries. All the passengers have been evicted from the bus and shifted to hospitals.

The bus, which has to go through the road in Pazhayannur, was diverted through the bypass section as the work was going on here. It is hinted that the cause of the accident was that the driver did not have much knowledge of the road.
