NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia has alleged that the BJP is hatching a conspiracy to kill Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal fearing a miserable defeat in the Gujarat Assembly and Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) elections. He alleged that BJP leader and MP Manoj Tiwari has a role in the conspiracy.
‘The BJP is hatching a conspiracy to murder Arvind Kejriwal fearing defeat in the Gujarat and MCD polls. Manoj Tiwari is openly asking his goons to attack Kejriwal and have planned it completely. We are not afraid of their cheap politics and the people will give a reply to their goondaism,’ tweeted Sisodia. However, the BJP has not responded to Sisodia’s remarks.
Sisodia's remarks came after Manoj Tiwari expressed concern over Kejriwal's safety. Manoj Tiwari tweeted that he was concerned about Kejriwal's safety as people were angry over the ongoing corruption, selling of tickets, friendship with a rapist and massage in jail.
There is a tight race between the BJP and AAP for Gujarat Assembly and MCD. The AAP claimed that victory will be repeated in the MCD elections and assume power in Gujarat. However, the BJP said all this is just a whim.
