KOLLAM: The Agniveer Recruitment Rally held at Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Kollam since November 17 concluded yesterday. The army recruiting office in the capital city organized the Agniveer Recruitment Rally under the aegis of the recruiting zone in Bengaluru.
The rally got a good response from the candidates. 25372 candidates, 11541 from soldier technical nursing assistant category and 45 candidates under junior commissioned officer - religious teacher category have registered online for Agniveer Recruitment Rally. 14805 candidates in agniveer category, 6981 in soldier technical category and 29 in religious teacher category underwent physical fitness tests and medical tests at the rally site.
A team of Army medical officers will undergo a medical examination of the candidates e found physically fit in the test conducted at the rally venue. Physically and medically qualified candidates will appear for the written test on January 15, 2023 for agniveer category and for soldier technical and religious teacher categories on February 26, 2023. After the written test the merit listed candidates will be sent to the designated training centers of the army.
The entire recruitment process in the army is free, fair and transparent and the candidates are warned not to fall prey to thieves, agents engaged in unfair practices.
