Wild elephant chases forest dept vehicle for two and a half kilometers in Attappadi

ATTAPPADI: A wild elephant has rushed towards the RRT vehicle of the forest department. The incident took place at 2.30 am on Friday in Paloor, Attappadi. The forest officers came to the area after learning that the wild elephant had entered the residential area. The locals were trying to drive away the elephant by turning on the lights. Meanwhile, the elephant turned towards the forest department vehicle.

The elephant chased the forest department vehicle for about two and a half kilometers. Then the elephant returned to the forest. This is the second time an elephant was seen in the area in the last two months. Seeing the elephant coming towards the vehicle, they parked the vehicle so that it can go but the elephant came towards the vehicle.
