Two people die of electrocution after iron ladder comes in contact with power line

KUMILY: In a tragic incident, two people died of electrocution when an iron ladder came in contact with a power line. The deceased are Attappallam native Subash (49) and Aanakkuzhy native Sivadas (59). The accident took place while they were cleaning a water tank. Both Sivadas and Subash were moving the ladder from the tank when it hit the power line. Although both of them were immediately rushed to a private hospital in Kumily, their lives could not be saved. The bodies will be handed over to the relatives on Sunday morning after the post-mortem at the Idukki Medical College.
