Crime Nanda Kumar arrested for hurling abuses at CM

KOCHI: The police arrested Crime editor Nanda Kumar in the case of circulating a video on social media hurling abuses at Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. He was arrested by the Ernakulam North Police.

A video of Nanda Kumar hurling abuses against the chief minister in the name of a WhatsApp post circulated on the money spent on the Silver Line project had drawn criticism. It is said that the post was circulated on WhatsApp by Ahmed, a native of Kannur.

However, in the video, Nanda Kumar is demanding that the amount spent for the Silverline project belonged to the common man and that it should be returned.
