828 police officers are accused in criminal cases in state, highest number in this district

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that 828 police officers in the state are accused in criminal cases. He clarified this in the written reply submitted in the assembly and released the list of this. Alappuzha district has the highest number of accused police officers in criminal cases - 99 officers. Next is Ernakulam with 97 officers, followed by Thiruvananthapuram – 90.
