Service disruption: Google restores Gmail after users come up with complaints 

NEW DELHI: After a severe outage on Saturday that affected millions of users worldwide, Google has finally restored Gmail service. Millions of Gmail users expressed their frustration on social media after Gmail services went down globally. There was a technical issue in sending and receiving emails. Both the mobile app and PC versions were affected globally. The service was restored hours after the outage occurred.

'The issue with gmail is now fully mitigated. All the backlog of undelivered messages have been cleared and mail services are back to normal,' Google Workspace said in an update.

'Thanks for your patience while we resolved this issue,' the company said later.
