NEW DELHI: A high-level meeting will be held in Delhi under the leadership of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to discuss the India-China border conflict near the Line of Actual Control in Arunachal Pradesh. Foreign Minister, Security Adviser and Chief of Defence Staff along with all three army chiefs will be present in the meeting. The opposition had given a notice in the parliament on the border conflict. The meeting is held in this situation. On the 9th of this month, there was a clash between Indian soldiers and Chinese soldiers who tried to cross the LAC in the Tawang sector.
As per reports, more than 200 Chinese soldiers carrying huge sticks and weapons tried to cross the border in Arunachal Pradesh. According to the available information, both sides suffered injuries in the encounter, but there was no loss of lives. According to national media reports, the number of injured on the Chinese side is likely to rise.
