NEW DELHI: After the acid attack on a girl, the Delhi Commission for Women issued a notice to e-commerce companies for allegedly allowing the sale of acid. The move came after the police found that the accused had bought the acid from Flipkart.
The women's commission's notice has also asked for full details of the company that sold the acid, a copy of the license to sell acid online, copies of the policy adopted for selling products regulated by the government, and photo ID cards of the people who bought the acid.
