Fake passport of Aishwarya Rai recovered from foreigners arrested in online fraud case

NEW DELHI: Uttar Pradesh Police on Friday arrested three foreigners from Noida in an online fraud case. The arrested include two Nigerians and one Ghanaian. The police recovered foreign fake currency worth 11 crores, tools to make it and fake passports from them.

Among the recovered items was Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's fake passport. They were arrested during the investigation in connection with a case of cheating an ex-army officer.

They were arrested in an online fraud worth Rs 1.81 crore. Foreign currencies worth around Rs 13 lakh were also seized from them. Fake Indian currency worth Rs 10.76 crore was also recovered.
