Grace mark will be restored: Minister Sivankutty

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister V Sivankutty has said that the grace mark given to students who excel in non-academic activities will be restored. Last year, grace marks were not allowed. There was also inequality in the distribution of grace marks. The minister clarified that it can be resolved and further action will be taken. He was inaugurating the 'Mahitham' program organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) VHSE section.

Malappuram BP Angadi GVHSS Girls and Kozhikode Nadakavu GVHSS Girls have been selected as the best state level units for the year 2021-22 in the NSS VHSE category.

K Silliyath of BP Angadi School and MK Sowbhagya Lakshmi of Nadakkavu School are the best state-level program officers. Best volunteers are Veda VS of Balusherry Government VHSS, Kozhikode and Niyaz Noufal of Thattakuzha VHSS, Idukki. The Minister also distributed the awards to them. Director of Public Education Jeevan Babu K presided. State NSS Officer Dr. Ansar RN, Regional Director Sridhar Guru, Dr. Sunny NM and others spoke.
