Pak Cricket Board Chairman Ramiz Raja sacked after defeat against England in test series

ISLAMABAD: Ramiz Raja has been sacked from the role of Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman. There were several rumours circulating for the past few days that a lobby in PCB dissatisfied with Raja is trying to replace him. Raja was dropped shortly after Pakistan's humiliating 3-0 defeat to England in the recent Test series at home. Ramiz Raja took over as the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board in September 2021.

Reports suggest that Najam Sethi will be appointed as the new chairman of PCB. Ramiz Raja was also criticized for the poor quality of the pitches prepared for the match against England.
