PARIS: French Football Federation has condemned the racial abuse against the French footballers after the World Cup final on Sunday and informed that they would file complaint against those responsible. Lusail stadium witnessed the beast final in the World Cup history on Sunday.

Argentina secured their third World Cup by defeating the defending world champions France 4-2 on penalties after the score were tied 3-3 in extra-time. Lionnel Messi scored a goal for Argentina in the 23rd minute and Angel Di Maria scored another one in the 36th minute, which gave Argentina an upper hand during first-half.

But France made a comeback through the penalty they got in the 80th minute. Kylian Mbappe scored a hat-trick and the match was tied. As both teams were unable to score a goal in the extra-time, it moved to a penalty shootout. In the shootout, France’s Aurelian Tchouameni and Kingsley Coman missed penalties and Argentina won the match. Following this, the players were racially abused on social media.

The English media reported that Tchouameni and Coman became victims of racial abuse on online and they had to switch-off comment section on Instagram accounts. With this, the French Football Federation said on Twitter that they will file a complaint against the abusers.
