Allegations against Thomas Isaac, Kadakampally and Sreeramakrishnan; CPM gives permission to file defamation case against Swapna Suresh

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The CPM is gearing up to take legal action against Swapna Suresh, accused in the diplomatic gold smuggling case, in the sexual allegations levelled against former ministers Thomas Isaac, Kadakampally Surendran and former Speaker P Sreeramakrishnan. CPM state secretary MV Govindan said that the party has given permission to the accused leaders to file a defamation case against Swapna.

All three CPM leaders had denied the allegations raised by Swapna Suresh. In his Facebook post, Sreeramakrishnan stated that the general public should realize that the allegations against him are falsehoods spread in the name of political rivalry. Kadakampally had clarified that he will take legal action against Swapna after consulting the party.
