EP attends public event amidst resort controversy; smiles to repeated questions of media

KANNUR: LDF convenor E P Jayarajan attended the KSTA programme in Kannur amidst the resort controversy. His reply was a smile to the repeated questions of the media on the controversial issue. He enumerated the achievements of the party and the administration in his speech.

Though he was not ready to respond publicly, in an interview to a channel, he admitted that he had headed several projects. He had taken the initiative for many projects including the Kandal and Vismaya Parks. He gathered people to execute the ayurveda firm. He said that he has nothing more to say and that people will understand everything.

Meantime, Muslim League leader K M Shaji demanded a probe in the controversy. Shaji said that it was Pinarayi who decided to clip the wings of E P Jayarajan and the complaint was as per the directive of him.

BJP state chief K Surendran also responded that the allegation against EP is not just an intra-party dispute. He added that the corruption committed during his tenure as a minister is now coming to light.
