‘Believers are not communalists and communalists do not have beliefs; Antony’s remark is an announcement that Congress is BJP’s B team’: MV Govindan

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM state secretary MV Govindan said that AK Antony’s remark is a public announcement that Congress is the ‘B team of BJP’. “Antony said that a soft-Hindutva approach should be adopted, that is followed by Congress for a long time. BJP cannot be defended by soft Hindutva, but that is what the Congress is doing," he said.

“Congress is working as a bridge to help BJP. Those who apply tilak on their foreheads are not supporters of soft Hindutva. They are believers. The believers are not communalists and communalists do not have beliefs. They use belief as a weapon. CPM’s stance is that each believer has the right to follow their beliefs. They cannot be considered as communalists.”, MV Govindan said.
