NEW DELHI: Rahul Gandhi said that he considers BJP and RSS as his gurus. “They are showing me the way and training me on what is not to be done.”, he said. He was speaking during a press conference at AICC headquarters.
“Congress gets an opportunity for improvement through criticism. The BJP and the RSS should criticize a bit strongly. This is the chance to have a better understanding of the Congress ideology. They provide a good training on what not to do and how to react. Bharat Jodo Yatra was a good experience. This is a journey against the fear, hatred and violence that is spreading in India. When I started this yatra, I just took it as an ordinary yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. Slowly we understood that this yatra has a voice and feelings. Personally, I learnt a lot of things.”, he said.
“There is a battle of ideology between the Congress and the BJP. We will succeed in that. Congress is needed to lead the opposition. Samajwadi party does not have a national ideology. Their idea won’t work in Kerala, Karnataka or Bihar. Only Congress is able to provide that. It is the responsibility of the Congress to hold the opposition together. The BJP can’t be seen in Madhya Pradesh. Everybody knows that they formed the government by stealing and giving money. In the next elections, Congress will secure all seats in Madhya Pradesh.”, Rahul Gandhi added.
