V Muraleedharan slams Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for insulting Guru

NEW DELHI: Union Minister V Muraleedharan accused Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan of blasphemy towards Guru. The minister criticized the chief minister for not standing up during Guru Sthuthi at a programme held at the S N College in Kannur. The chief minister who praised Guru darshans at Sivagiri, insulted Guru by not standing up while songs on Guru were sung at the college.

The CPM is using Guru darshans only for political gains. The chief minister praises Guru darshans when need arises and then continues to demean them. The minister also said that Pinarayi had once ridiculed an assembly member while taking oath in the name of Guru.

The union minister also alleged that neither the chief minister nor the CPM leaders have any real respect for Sree Narayana Guru or Sivagiri.
