LONDON: In his autobiography 'Spare', Prince Harry has made a shocking revelation about his brother William, the Prince of Wales. In the book, Harry claimed that William physically assaulted him in 2019, as per reports in the media. The book will be released on January 10.
An argument between the two over Prince Harry's wife, Meghan Markle, resulted in the physical assault. As per reports, Harry was angered by William's use of abusive language towards Meghan. The argument between the two escalated when William grabbed Harry by the collar.
"It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog's bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out," said Prince Harry.
Harry also revealed that his brother apologized to him after the incident.
Prince Harry's revelations about his brother come as their father Prince Charles prepares for his coronation next May following the death of Queen Elizabeth. Relations between the siblings have been strained since Harry and his wife quit their royal duties in 2020 and moved to California. In 2021, the comments made by both of them against King Charles and Prince William was controversial.
