THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Pazhayidam Mohanan Namboothiri’s son Yadhu Pazhayidam has clarified that he has no objection to non-veg food and he disagrees with mixing communalism into the food on the basis of caste and religion. Yadhu also said that he will not undertake the task of cooking for the upcoming sports meet and science fair.

He stated this while busily preparing non-veg dishes in the pantry of Tagore Theatre, Thiruvananthapuram, during the national conference of the All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA).

He spoke to Kerala Kaumudi while serving bowls of fish chili and chicken pepper fries.

“There is no need for a rethinking. A big lobby is working to destroy us. They are behind these controversies. We will continue to serve non veg dishes in other places.”, says Yadhu.

Yadhu, an MBA graduate, attends every kalolsavam with his father ever since his studies. He came to Thiruvananthapuram as the AIDWA conference is being held.

Non-veg dishes were served for the delegates yesterday night during the AIDWA conference. It includes varieties of fish, chicken and beef dishes. Today is the last day and Yadhu will be serving mutton biriyani as lunch.
