TRIVANDRUM: The third of the final One-day international between India and Sri Lanka will be held in greenfield stadium, Karyavattom on Sunday. India has already clinched the series after going 2-0 up after a neat display in Kolkata.
The Indian team will be led by Rohit Sharma with prominent names such as Virat Kohli, Mohammed Shami, and Suryakumar Yadav remaining unchanged. Dasun Shanaka-led Srilanka will look for a consolation victory at Karyavattom on Sunday.
On Saturday, some Indian players visited the revered Padmanabha Swamy temple in the city. Later in the evening, both teams entered the stadium to begin practice. The match set for 1:30 pm on Sunday will allow the entry of spectators from 11:30 am onwards. This is the fifth international match to be played at Karyavattom greenfield.
