KATHMANDU: This is the second plane crash in Nepal in eight months. A flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara crashed into a ravine on Sunday. It is reported that 72 people who were on the flight have died. Meanwhile, the visuals of the plane just before it crashed is now circulating on social media. The visuals were captured from the top of a nearby building. In the video the flight veers off while landing followed by the loud crash.
The disaster happened around 11 am today. Yeti Airlines flight from Kathmandu crashed into a nearby ravine while trying to land at the Pokhara International Airport. There were 72 people on board, including 68 passengers and four crew members. Of 15 foreigners, five are Indians. The airport was closed following the accident. A national mourning has been declared tomorrow in Nepal.
