Three victims of Nepal plane crash were returning from Mallappally after attending a funeral

MALAPPALLY: Three Nepalese who attended a funeral in Anicadu, Mallappally were also among those died in Pokhara plane crash in Nepal. Rabin Hamal, Raju Takuri and Anil Shahi returned after attending the funeral service of Mathew Philip (75) in Anicadu. Mathew Philip served as an evangelist of Brethern church in Nepal for over 40 years. He was staying in Kerala for the past 10 years. The five-member evangelist group from Nepal came to Kerala to attend the funeral last Friday. They returned at 7 pm. Two members of the group, Deepak Tamang and Saran got off at Kathmandu airport on the way back. The other three were on their way to Pokhara when the accident happened.
