TRIVANDRUM: Monday — a tedious day at work for many, but for some among the congress-affiliated organizations inside the secretariat, it was fight day. A scuffle broke out between the Secretariat Employees’ Association (SEA) workers after a heat exchange of words soon turned to blows.
For a long, bitter exchanges happened among A-group and I-group workers in the congress party about the representation each holds in the secretariat employees’ association. Harris, the treasurer of the SEA suffered small injuries and was later shifted to the general hospital. The employees were called inside the SEA office inside to talk truce, but the talks transgressed into a brawl that resulted in a long fight. The injured congress workers complained to the police.
