NEW DELHI: With the controversial BBC documentary on Indian Prime minister Narendra Modi going wildfire on the internet, the government has decided to put a ban on the circulation of the documentary on social media. The BBC documentary ‘INDIA: THE MODI QUESTION’ triggered retrospective talks questioning the authenticity of the findings of the 2002 Gujarat riots. Many RTI activists shared the link on Twitter causing the government to take such strange action.

The focal of the Documentary is the revelation that Modi is partially responsible for the genocide that happened back in 2002. The MEA responded with a rare fury stating that the documentary rides on surmises and reeks of a “colonial Mindset”. British prime minister Rishi Sunak held back Narendra Modi criticizing the authenticity of the documentary. In the coming days, India will reach Britain diplomatically, to convey their disapproval of the whole BBC saga.
