63-year-old Madrassa teacher arrested for sexually abusing 11-year-old

ALAPPUZHA: A 63-year-old Madrassa teacher was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing an 11-year-old girl of his class. The Aroor police arrested Muhammed of Arookutty in the district. He was arrested from his house the other day based on the complaint filed by the girl’s mother.

The complaint is that he was sexually abusing her at the madrassa in Chanthiroor for a month. The girl revealed the incident to her mother the other day. The accused produced in the court has been remanded.
