KOTTAYAM: The Crime branch will now investigate the case related to Jasna, the college girl who had gone missing six months ago under mysterious circumstances.

DGP Loknath Behera ordered transferring the case to the Crime Branch after the local police under IG Manoj Abraham could not find any clue in the case.
Manoj Abraham will on Tuesday hand over the case to the Crime Branch ADGP.

Jasna is the daughter of Kollamula native James. The police had obtained the CCTV visuals of Jasna boarding the bus from Mundakkayam. This was the only solid evidence the police could procure even after six months of investigation.

The police had also got the mobile message she had sent to his friend, saying that she was going to commit suicide but further investigation hit a roadblock .
Jasna is the second year student of Kanjirapally SD College.
