Naked man vandalizes idol at 'moolasthanam' of Kodungallur Sri Kurumba Bhagavathy temple

THRISSUR: A naked man vandalized an idol installed at the 'moolasthanam' (source of the main idol) of Kodungallur Sri Kurumba Bhagavathy. The incident happened around 4:30 in the morning. As per the sources, the accused suffers from mental illness.

The suspect was taken into police custody. Hindu Aikya Vedi will observe taluk level hartal today to protest the incident.
